About Us

The Irish Australian Chamber of Commerce builds partnerships with companies sharing a commitment to promote business-to-business relationships locally and Australia Ireland bilateral trade. It also encourages Australian companies to use Irish connections for entry into the European Union market.

A “not for profit” organisation, the Chamber depends on sponsorship and member subscriptions to fund activities in Australia and in linking Irish and Australian businesses.

Corporate sponsors are exposed to the Chamber’s database of over 1,500 listed individuals and businesses and assists with introductions to business and government leaders.

Over the years the Chamber has hosted Australian Prime Ministers, State Premiers and Federal and State Ministers, Presidents of Ireland, an Taoiseach the Irish Prime Minister, Irish Government Ministers and Trade Missions to Ireland and Trade Missions from both sides of the Irish border as well as Ireland’s Ambassadors to Australia. The Chamber is also linked to European Union representation in Australia.

The Chamber’s Board of Directors and a CEO oversee day-to-day operations and strategic planning.
